| Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) Please note that you are also required to have proof of passing the biology exam. Applicants applying for undergraduate degree studies are required to have completed their secondary /high school education. Subjects required to be passed for this programme: Biology and English Applicants, coming from the following countries are required to obtain one year of post-secondary education: - Nigeria Citizens of Uzbekistan also need to have either 1 year of additional post-secondary education or can pass an additional exam in SMK. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. Overview
Aesthetic cosmetology – is a possibility to work in a growing and constantly renewing industry of beauty services. The studies will grant a set of practical skills and it will help to cherish aesthetics and beauty and spread it to others.
After studies you will:
- Know the composition and functions of the human body;
- Understand the main functions of the skin and know its composition;
- Know the legal acts which regulate the activity of a cosmetologist;
- Know how to perform the main face and body care procedures;
- Be able to work using different professional face and body care lines;
- Understand the main business aspects of the beauty industry.
Programme structure
You will study:
- Human anatomy and physiology;
- General, skin illnesses and pathology;
- General, clinical, and apparatus cosmetology;
- Business of beauty services;
- Face and body care procedures, body SPA, depilation, makeup, manicure/pedicure;
- You will do face and body care practice on real clients and etc.
