| Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) Applicants applying for undergraduate degree studies are required to have completed their secondary /high school education. Subjects required to be passed for this programme: History OR Geography and English Please, keep in mind that subjects that only study the history or geography of your country will NOT be accepted (e.g. Pakistan Studies). The subject needs to be related to the world studies of History or Geography. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. | Other requirements | The acceptable study gap is 7 years or less. After submitting an application, you will be invited to a short motivational interview for us to determine your English-level skills and motivations for your studies at SMK. Your application will be evaluated based on your performance during the motivational interview together with your other qualifications. Overview
We aim to prepare professionals within the tourism and recreation area, who are able to independently create and manage tourism business, organize hotel activities, act responsibly in local and international tourism markets.
After studies you will be able to:
- Identify forms and types of tourism, services, and products of tourism, recreation, and accommodation companies;
- Conduct the analysis of the tourism business environment, market, and company activities;
- Manage the sales processes of services of the tourism, recreation, and accommodation business sectors;
- Effectively use the information technologies related to tourism;
- Create and sell products of tourism.
